Just got back from a little ride with Herman on his DR650 to Baviaans and back and the bike was AWESOME! I really love this bike! Sorry just cell phone pics.

I need a new battery for my DR750. YB14L-B2. What is recommended and where? I'm in PE. Does anyone in PE stock Yuasa batteries? Thanks Ian

Yep 750 single cylinder! A real thumper! Although surprisingly smooth and revs nicely. In fact at least as smooth from 3000rpm as a BMW F650GS. Chris just for you, some yellow Dakar bikes and even a blue and white one!

Yes I do. I was happy with the way it sounded. Not too loud or too soft. It just didn't suit the look of the bike. And it needs a good polish. Make me an offer and I'll send you some close up pics if you want.

Finally fitted another exhaust. Well two actually but the LHS one is gutted and will be used for storage space. It gives a lot of useful space and doubles as a tie down point for my soft luggage. I also made up a luggage rack for the luggage on the RHS. It all looks a lot better and sounds...

Are these the Dakar footpegs? If so I'm pretty sure they are the passenger footpegs.

My bike has a top that is different to this one. But the main body and the part that attaches to the carb are the important pieces.

The airbox should look like this. These bikes are almost impossible to get running properly without the right airbox.

No I'm in PE. If I remember correctly your bike is missing the airbox. I have one if you are interested. I did pm you about it I think. Cheers Ian

Sorry man. Looks like Brutom is taking them. I have managed to track down the guy that used to make them for Powerflow. I'm seeing him on Friday about some other work. I'll see if I can get a price from him on another set. Cheers Ian

That is a beautiful bike and in really nice condition. A bit late now but given the condition I don't think I would have stripped the engine. The internals look good too. I've bought stuff from David Silver Spares. Excellent service. Good luck and enjoy!

I have a set of stainless headers for a 70's Honda CB 550/500/400. I bought them from Powerflow a couple of years ago and have never used them. I think they were over R3000 then. I would like R750 if anybody is interested. I'll cover the postage costs anywhere in SA. I also have a few CB550 bits...
