I was/am looking for a 1200GS. Was looking at 2009 and later, and was waiting for that bargain that comes up every now and then, but can now get a 2007 with low kms for about R80k from a BMW dealer. The bike is too far away to go see it, so I will have to buy based only on the dealer feedback...

Howdee. I know it differs, but what is the average interest rate given on bike finance at the moment? Anybody that's applied for finance recently that's willing to share what interest rate you got? Does the percentages differ between financing private deals, or buying from an authorised dealer?

Ended up buying a Sony CX130 that was on special at Makro this past weekend. Included an external harddrive, and cables for direct transfer which is quite convenient. Not a bad deal. Thanks for the offer on the Canon vstromPE...  :thumleft: Good luck with the sale.
