I made something similar for backing up to my caravan/trailer. As I only needed it for that, it wasn't a permanent fixture. I found a concave mirror and made an arm from Aluminum with a hook bent on the end. It hooked onto the canopy door. When not in use it lived behind the rear seat.

Here in the UK they have done some homework and found that the 'deals' on BF are not good deals and in many cases the item was cheaper earlier in the year. Personally I cant be bothered to get involved in a bun fight to maybe get something art a supposed good price
