All ok here - we were incredibly lucky. We barely got anything in the end, a few strong gusts of wind and two drops of rain. It was a close call though. The Big Bend area is flattened and flooded.

Things are definitely starting to rattle around here... NOAA's latest update, Helene is just shy of category 4... going to be a close shave for us. I do find it ironic that the Typhoon Lagoon waterpark is closed because of a hurricane... :sneaky:

No storm surge for us here on the east coast, or if so, less than 1 foot. But the poor people where it's going to make landfall... they are calling it "catastrophic and life-threatening." That same area is still recovering from Hurricane Idalia last year, which hit them also as a category 4.
