the best I have seen on my 1190 is 24 Km/L but with a head wind and wife on the back at about 145km/h I get 17 to 18 Km/l, its way lighter on fuel than my 950 was .

not sure on the 1190 never had to look, but on my old 950 i used to blow fuses on the main relay and the fuel pump would not run nor would the bike start , does the 1190 not have a similar relay with a fuse behind the right side cover

I have one of these on my 1190 , works well does not effect the bike at all( I don't get the dreaded top box weave), I carry my tool box , a cap , rain suit and spare gloves and I can fit my inner in it if its get hot .
