Yes it works very well and it is a must have....... got mine from Dust Riders i think it was around R350 very simple to fit........

i have the SW Motech , it now comes with 2 springs so its better , got mine from Amanda / Chris from dustriders.

That is concerning !!!!  So much for "crash bars" , the idea is that the bars take the hit , not much good if they bend and do dammage in the process !!!! I have the same ones ......... not happy to hear this  :(

dont the sw motech ones fit ???  are the engine mounts different to the XC ?

Just change the front sprocket and adjust your chain tension , i do not think you will have to remove links..... On my MX bike i changed front sprocket size and just adjusted the chain tension...

hows the traction control on the new one ? with the winter rains here now i find my EO7`s dont like wet tar much , hell i can wheel spin from robot to robot , traction control would be nice I must say.....

wish i could find a decently priced one !!!! 2k for a bit of perspex ...... someone is having a laugh.....

I would say the feel is the same , its the same frame , tank ,seat etc cant see the way the bike feels being any different

Congrats man , i would say they are both great bikes and you made a good choice , be sure to let us know your thoughts when you have been riding it for a bit....... my xc is used more on tar so for me its perfect , the tripple is such a smooth motor and it shunts when you need it too  :ricky:

I know it is easier to have them done while in the shop but i will do my pads myself , i know tracmac sells them and they will be alot cheaper........

MHMC (cape town) qouted me this morning R3400 for the 20,000km service excluding any extras that may be required. Wont you guys up country let us know what you get qouted , there should not be a big difference between the dealers and if there is then we are getting shafted !!!!  :o :thumleft:
