Not well known here and not sure if he was a member, but Oom Andre Gouws was a legend amongst the R1150GS riders, Andre passed away last weekend after a bike accident near Uppington. He was in his 80's and had his R1150GS from new, it had over 357,000km on it at our Bash in 2019. RIP Andre.

Just a general question, my Gate motor is 24V and uses 2 x 12V 7Amp hour batteries, but they are fitted vertically not horizontal, is this not bad for the batteries?  :sip:

Creating a post just to store the info R1150GSA Rocker Cover Paint code, apparently "Cross-referenced the motorcycle colour code 944, BMW Dark Ferro Metallic, with a car code of 488. With this BMW code, my local paint guy was able to mix some up for me in cellulose  Hopefully the end results...
