Do you still have the 2 X PW 80's?

I have the bitubo's fitted as well on the 800 GS but was not aware of this problem. Is bitubo not willing to fix this if it is a well know problem. rgds Essie (Nico)

yes, that's the engine, twin spark as can be seen from the website, When I bought the bike in 2009 I remember reading up about the engine and if I am not mistaken this 650 was developed by rotax for both BMW and Aprilia

BMW stopped making them in 2009 (I think), same engine as the 650 Dakar (therefore very durable), just much lighter frame and body

do you have pics of the crash bars on the F800 / F650 twin? Would like to get idea of how high up it sits, ie if it will protect the radiator in event of crash, rgds
