Yeehah!  That KTM will cream the dirt roads of the EC!  I did a trip in that area earlier this month and although my fourth-hand Dakar behaved admirably it would have been much smoother on my husband's 990 Adventure....  It's a pity we're so far away from Queenstown 'cause there are loads more...

I'm hoping that tyre weld will do the thing, I've had my innings with trying to get a puncture fixed on a sidestand bike, alone.  Ended up with the bike on my lap.....  So this time there'd better be a helpful farmer around!  I'm doing mostly dirt roads, maybe fewer potholes there or at least...

Hi there!  I'm planning a trip from PMB down to Ceres early in September.  Planning to go via Creighton to Kokstad, then Matatiele, Dordrecht, Somerset East, Steytlerville back to the N1 and on to Ceres.  First proper solo trip, so any advice?
