It is normally the rivets that fail so if it is that then replace with machine screws and nylock nuts. If you dont take your topbox off often then bolt it to the frame. More secure and less rattling. Sent from my SM-T505N using Tapatalk

I think if I had a front end prang, the bike coming loose is the least of my worries. Have secured the wheel catcher to the deck, and will strap down the bike to prevent movement. If all goes well I will make it permanent and reinforce it properly. Seems I have the weight distribution right now.
