I have tried stickers on plastic petrol tanks in the past but they dont last and then it left yellow stains on the tank when you remove it.... I would have liked to add nice funky stickers but that is the reason why I havent done it

Dont agree - I can add stickers but the problem with plastic petrol tanks are that stickers dont last and then it make yellow marks on the tank.... The new models are currently white!!
