I am looking for a new Oil pump drive gear on the DR. Got 2 of the teeth on the plastic gear damaged a bit when replacing the clutch the other day... Im not too worry about it but thought its better to be safe than sorry... think its got 30 teeth. Suzuki south here in Cape town reckons 4 tp 6...

oh and ive also came across a Djebel 250 in a bike shop and i had a look ihow far off its plastics would be .. and it is bloddy close.. about 25mm short by the back of the seat but if i cant find a stock plastic im going to pull a fibre glass mould of that plastic and make myself a cover... or...

Hi there. All the comments about your trip the guys have given you is as accurate as you would get... My opinion however is to not over think the trip from Cape town to Knysna too much as it is a easy and beautiful ride no matter what route you take... Finding accommodation can be a bit tricky...
