Mitas E-07 + (new tread Pattern)

Just changed my Mitas E07 rear tyre with about 6000 km on for the 2 nd time since fitting them in dec 17! Each time the tyre developed cracks in the  tread. Mitas supported the product and paid %unused towards a new tyre but I have lost confidence in the tyre. Pity because they were great on...

    BMW G310GS

Value is in the eye of the beholder. That is why some people will pay to drive a Bentley rather than a Volkswagen The argument relating to the BMW GS 310 falls into the same category in my opinion . Each of the marketing departments of the major brands target a niche however unclear their...

What have you done to your R 1200 GS/A LC today?

Did a ride in the Vredefort Dome. Hard hit on a low water bridge. No visible damage until I got home. Top two mounts of the rear wheel hugger broke off! Was planning on removing it anyway😁. I did over R100k km on my previous GS without the hugger.

Thinking about Rhino lining the top of my BMW panniers

I have been thinking about having polyurethane Rhino lining sprayed on the top of my panniers to prevent scuffing from boots and bags i tie down onto the panniers for long trips. This would seem to be extremely durable but I am not sure it will pass the aesthetics test. Has anyone done this...

    BMW G310GS

Opinions on a bike not yet ridden are not worth the breath used to deliver them. Over time this bike might prove to be a dog or a star. I think this style and size of bike will do wonders for the SA motorcycling scene and that is what really excites me. I hope to see a lot of new bikers on small...

What have you done to your R 1200 GS/A LC today?

No part numbets sorry.  I ordered them from GPS4AFRICA  and specified the Storm hand guards. There are a couple of handguard types that alI fit the aluminium bar. The bar is specific to each bike model. Price R1600. I am sure that you will be able to order from any Barkbuster stockist. Check out...

What have you done to your R 1200 GS/A LC today?

Fitted a set of Barkbusters with the Storm plastics. Much more secure with my hands behind the bulky aluminium bar. Had a bad incident on my previous bike. Shattered the OEM BMW handguard which is actually only a wind deflector. Bruised hand but could have been far worse. Happier now and most...
