Use benzine to clean, works much better to clean oily residue than thinners or acetone.

Graham Thiele (Doc KLR) advertised replacement hubs at one stage. Then I saw either Cape KLR or lecap advertise replacement repaired hubs recently. Maybe contact one of them, or even maybe Groenie.
