The Chigee AIO-5 has been getting rave reviews all round. At Eicma the Chigee AIO-6 was released but it looks like the only difference between the two is a slightly bigger screen on the 6 (afaik). The Chigee is simply a mirror of your phone - no risk of ruining your phone (sun/rain/vibration)...

So picked up me 'new-to-me' 1250GSA earlier this week, downloaded the App, connected the phone and Sena to the bike (that was easy!). From the above should I now un-pair the phone and the Sena leaving me with bike-to-phone and bike-to-Sena? I still need to get the cradle but at 5k from BMW...

My pillion says that the Spirit modular helmet is the best fitting helmet she's ever had - I enjoyed my DSV2 as a commuting helmet - it is noisier that most helmets but I like hearing my surrounds when I commute....at that price point I think its a good helmet.

Couple of years back I drove all the way from Jhb to the KTM dealership in Durban, spent a small fortune, turned around and drove back home. Great dealership - really sorry to hear of their circumstances......

When I still had my 800 GSA my Mrs also complained initially - tossed the rubber pegs and bought some offroad pillion pegs from Flying Brick - Knowing her feet were secure sorted the whole issue, to the point that she was happy to pillion a 5000k trip through Namibia and Botswana.........then...

Gone to a new home.....Single Spirit Bluetooth headset unit - great for listening to music or connecting to your phone. Works fine but you'll need to get more sticky velcro to fit it inside the helmet. Free to a good home - You can collect in Sandton during office hours.....

Transalp v AT is definitely going to depend on the type of riding you want to do. Both are great bikes. For me, 2-up touring was a priority which meant ATAS DCT and I have no regrets.......until someone asks me to do technical singletrack - which is way beyond my skillset on a 250kg adventure...
