Bruce, the front in the photo is an E07 hence my suggestion of the TKC. Mate of mine with a E10 fared about 50 metres better before he also came to a halt. You are correct - all tyres will clog up with that snotty mud. Enjoy the trip. The pans are magical.

My humble opinion: TKC 80 Front MITAS E07 Rear Pic was taken on the pans after a spectacular slide. :biggrin:

I have done about 1200km on a set. My opinion: Better than a Heidi on wet tar (probably doesn't take much). Much better than a Heidi in the dirt. Can not comment about km's yet, but man are they loud on tar! They should be sold with a set of earplugs.  :biggrin:

Ek het dieselfde probleem gehad. Stel die sitplek voor op hoog en agter op laag. So gly jy nie meer vorentoe nie en jou knaters bly nie in die slag nie.

Absolute stupidity. The couple in the rental decided to take a drive on the pan. The pans are still very wet about an 2 inches under the surface. The bakkie sank down to the chassis. When we passed they had already been there 5 hours. After struggling with them for about 2 hours we left them...
