The quotes I received were all over the place.  The highest was R45,000 and the lowest I got was R14,000. The procedure is a bit of a bitch. Police clearance was basically a 2-day affair of running from license dept to police clearance centre then back to license dept and so on.  standing in...

She got crated about 2 months ago.  Should be leaving SA any day now.  I took the cheap option with the shipping agent so I've had to wait for the container to get filled by other customers. 

Thanks for all the info guys.  After much deliberation ive decided to let this one go.  It just wont serve the intended purpose. I need something cheap that can sit for 6 months amd then spark up with minimal effort.  This looks lile too complex a beast fpr this purpose.

Thanks a lot!  I really know nothing about this sort of bike.  It will probably take 5 to 10k to get her serviced and on the road so i'll offer 20k and keep her in the garage for when I visit SA.  At least i'll have an inexpensive bike to ride. Much obliged. PS: the mechanic that is storing...
