Tom, what size motors are on those augers? Look like about 5HP? Single phase I guess? They are also what we call TEFC motor - Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled. This means that there is a small fan at the back of the motor that blows air over those fins on the body to cool it. So keeping that dust...

$12 for a sarmie isn't that bad a price, especially if it comes with fries. I regularly pay $8 to $10 for a sarmie at the Wawa gas station near my office. Yes, its freshly made and good quality, but still food is expensive in the US.
