What I normally do with those flanges, is you let it slide down a bit, coat underneath, but ONLY the little bit that is covered by the flange, slide it over, it does scratch the wet coating a bit, hence just that small part, then fasten the flange with some fastening wire, and spray the rest...

Some few updates again.... Patched up that horrible seat, and added the seat bump, like the pro's. Maybe it will remind me to sit in the right place in corners. Still need to do the seat cover, maybe getting it on Monday. Pipe has been stripped of the Nickel, welds heated up, and I changed...

Put it this way, everything still looks very bland without the sticker kit and small details that make a difference. I am not even posting this on my social media accounts of the progress, it will only be the before and after pics for this very reason.

I have an idea for the decals that will break up the tan a bit, but this should give you an idea

It will look a little different with decals and when the tyres are on, it's more of a Supermoto thing, not really done in MX, exactly why I am doing it.

Another little update, The seat is bare, took the cover off, so it's just the foam, but I wanted to get an idea what it will look like with the black seat cover.

I think the G12's will outlast the Tech7's. Also the G12's have better ankle protection than the Tech7's.
