bring in a radiator from the US while you are there as well. Both our KLR have aftermarket. You are welcome to come take my Schnitz, big bore, bigger valves, Dynojet, L MOD, KLR for a ride before you decide to spend all that money.
On Janines 2008 silver frame bike we did 0.5mm O/S original Kawa piston, but fitted the newer one. Hers now uses less oil than mine. Same very decent engineering shop same Mechanic.
My bike went like a rocket for 10 000km after fitting the Woesner, then it all went wrong and it started to smoke like a train. Luckily you can still bore out to take the JE piston from Eagle mike/Schnitz. Oil rings on the Woesner collapsed. @Groenie has a bench full of Woesner ash trays.
