    Thanks a mil. You hit the nail on the head! The 1200 was good on the open road but not great for heavy traffic (which I have to deal with every day). I find that this 800 is just as stable on the open road and does everything in a effortless manner (including winding through cars on the N1)...

    Hi all. Bought an oil cooled 1200GS in Feb and put 30,000km's on it this year. Been surfing this forum in silence ever since. Now I have a 800 and I'm very very happy  ;D Got my new baby yesterday and thought it would be a good time to introduce myself by sharing a photo of my Red Devil...
