When suspecting any wiring problems start with your fuses.  :deal: I had a problem with my speedo cluster momentarilly cutting out.  Quick inspection at BMW lokked like all the fuses were ok, but one of them was cracked! ..explaining why it would randomly cut out and then work fine again...

Advice:  1.) Wel; when I bought my Dakar in 2005 nobody told me to keep the chain Lubed, and tensioned. Go get yourself a can of Castrol ChainWax 2.) (Try get yourself that center stand will make lubing (every 500km) & any other work on your bike a pleasure)
