BMW F800GS adv battery charging while connected?

Not necessary. I have pigtails fitted to both cars and 3 bikes. Optimate 3+ charger does them all. at various times, over the last 12 years. No issues at all. But if there already is a problem with your bike's electrics that is causing your flattery to go batt, then you'd better get that sorted...

Help me decide - Sertao or XT660R

They were de-tuned 800s, with normal forks, and cast wheels. They were still pretty capable. The F650 twin became the F700 twin, and when the F850 replaced the F800 twin, the de-tuned versions became the F750. Silly model designation, I think.

Help me decide - Sertao or XT660R

It's a pretty cost-efficient concept. Key points (design, Quality control. Logistics...) are monitored or managed by Herr Offenmeister and his mates, while the assembly and labour-intensive skills are executed by Hu Chen and his mates. Many StreetSide vendors and repairmen (watches, game...

Help me decide - Sertao or XT660R

Yes, Dan, that's quite correct. But I have ridden... not just looked at pretty pictures. The Lonsin motor - yip, I have no experience of its performance or longevity. 200k km is not, however, a question of breakneck performance. It's a helluva long experience of two incredible, tough and...

Help me decide - Sertao or XT660R

The Sertao has longer legs than my two earlier 650 BMWs - the Funduro and GS, on which I travelled 200,000km. The roads and tracks I travelled: 5000km PE to Namibia and back to EL, including D roads and rocks. Elandsrivier to Patensie, or through Antoniesberg pass to Steytlerville, then on to...

    Bmw brakes issue.

I would say that it is BMW's responsibility to get it to Schroeder in George, not yours. Secondly, I would ask Guy for his opinion, and also WhatisName at Alan Lewis.
