Does anyone know where can I get a dimensioned engineering drawing for the frame of a R1200GS (2010-2012)? I need the dimensions of bolt holes, etc. So far I haven’t had any success with google searches. Thanks.

During the day I ride Brights with orange cover + LED spots. That's after my bike was ripped apart by a cager who didn't see

I just replaced both dim and bright globes with HID Xenon globes, drilled out the back cover to fit the wires, and mounted the ballast above the oil cooler. Was very cheap, quick and easy. No need to open up the fitting, or even remove it from the bike.

Some boy is growing up with a love for adventure. I am sure he will tell his own grandchildren about that ride.

Haha, we wee joking among the bikers in PE this hols about what makes a "real biker". I suggested "has no car" which got general approval I have no car and ride daily R12GS. Trying to make up for lost time (30yrs since last bike)

I used to have an R27 shaftie. R50 shafties are common. Even R80's are 800 with a shaft. Where you been?
