    2. Saw this on our outing. What caught my eye was the heavily over engineered brake lever(s). Very intense and nothing I have ever seen before. Voor die dae van kabels, die reme was met stawe en catenlevers ge aktiveer, het maklik vas geroes en uit gesluit.

My 2 cents worth. Golf kart motor = 48V= more batteries=$. I Would rather spend money on a proper controller and copper bus bar. Proper Controller should allow you to run two motors in parallel, possibly a third. Should also allow you to set up motors individually to name plate. You will be...

Neat build. Suspect your controlers are PWM type and knowing the Chinees the Rating includes consumtion of the eletronics. So you are right in suspecting not full amps to the motor. Probaly also designed for brusless DC motors on E bikes. If posible use controler as a soft starter, and add a...

So long as they are turning in same direction the slow will become a generator. Only risk is the controler not being able to handle the regen. In an industrial set up it can turn into lekker fun having to clean the flashed carbon from insulation and brush gear.

Trip down memory lane for me, while fixing stoves on a Mine Property/Vilage, I learned the hard way that even switching of at the DB is no quarantee. The Tannie was a Baker of note, so to ensure that the stove could keep up with the demand. The solution was easy run a dedicated cable from Mini Sub.

This is my new circular saw. It is in excellent condition and works like a charm. I am just still a bit over cautious when using it, especially if I cant see the blade. I am planning on making an insert (in place of one of the plates) for my work trolley to mount this as a tablesaw. Still in...

I reckon I've set up world records for getting out of gumboots when welding. Wearing Shorts and gumboots while welding can make for interesting moments. At least with plakkies you can get your foot out fast. Gum boots eish, but why? :spitcoffee:
