Drain the float bowl, catch the petrol coming out and look for foreign stuffs.

Get a Hyde bash plate. You probably wont need case savers then.

Just replace the cable. Or if your cheap, use a bicycle break cable cut to length and solder on the appropriate end piece.

I understand that the needle can rub on the main jet and wear out. Check if the main jet is still round,or worn oval. There is a mod to prevent it from happening.

It feels like the front end is floating but that only lasts till the tyre beds in, then it's a pleasure all round

Wash the filter in benzine. Works well and costs about R35 a bottle.
