In my 1150 days I also had some leaking clutch slave cylinder issues .... I took the whole slave cylinder to a hydraulics/clutch and  brakes service specialist and they quickly found matching seals from a little "box of spare seals" .... Eg. in that case the slave cylinder main seal was...

Hi Malcolm, many moons ago I found an Opel Cub (and various other Opels) was using exactly the same Valeo starter ..... Also discussed here https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=49476.0 So I bought a new starter and just swopped out the front attachment bracket to fit it onto the bike...

I used to ride non-ABS bikes for many (40 years) and learned to feather the front brake without sliding, even on gravel ...... Rear brake steering was great on smaller, more off-road bikes, but not really used on the large beemers ..... but I had one or two close calls on too much front brake...
