I second dirt junkie, got myself the atg side panniers and works so damn well. Also note the legs shouldn't be effected with these side panniers, however getting on and off may be tricky for pillion but that depends on size and flexibility.

Does the ring not fit on at all? or could you get it on and maybe use a longer screw? Will send pictures of how I did mine when I am home.

Thanks, sorry I am not too clued up. I know you can get about 16000 km off the battle wings if your not too throttle heavy. So just assumed that's the norm for a good tire.
