Little foam filter living inside the final drive breather. Cleaned and oiled with high grade filter oil. Sometimes I really worry myself ...  :geek:  :patch:

My rev counter is (fairly) clean still and I want to keep it that way. Any clever ways of eliminating this?

BMW recons that oil usage up to 20 000 kms is normal. So 12 years later, this bike is now officially run in.  :biggrin:

Lots of googling have not resulted in any ... uhm, results.  ;D My 'new-to-me' instruments are very clean and I want to keep them so. Any special tricks to keeping dust out of those two?
