Looking for Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports (2020 - 2023)

Baie geluk! Daar is min dinge so lekker soos 'n nuwe bike in die garage!

    The Africa twin CRF1000L corner

Ja! MadTV gee 'n baie goeie idee van die adventure bike scene in Aus, die tipiese terrein, roetes en gewilde bikes. Adam Reimann se kanaal is ook in die kol.

    The Africa twin CRF1000L corner

    The Africa twin CRF1000L corner

I use an independent mechanic in my town. A guess: - Minor service (oil + filter) - AU $300 - Major - AU $600-1000? Honda dealership will be more expensive, just because. A valve adjustment for the AT (nothing else) at Honda costs almost AU $1000. Labour costs are expensive here.

    The Africa twin CRF1000L corner

    Awesome Tools

When I saw this thread yesterday, I had a look at Knipex prices in South Africa, and I was shocked! This 150mm pliers wrench and 125mm Cobra set was the first Knipex's I bought back in SA around 2010. The rest I bought over the years, most on discount. I find the best prices to be at...

    Awesome Tools

Between the 150, 180 and 250 mm's I use the 180 the most. Even though the 150 might open wide enough to fit on a nut, it is on the short side to give the leverage you need to undo a very tight axle nut for instance. Unless you use a cheater bar on it. The 180 is a bit beefier, and a more...

    The Africa twin CRF1000L corner

I normally do short solo rides on weekends, between 1-3 hours on a Sa or Sun afternoon. Rarely further than 100 km radius from home. Not technical riding, but smooth slippery twisty gravel forest roads. So much fun on a big powerful bike, sliding all over the place, locking the rear into...

Where has your bike taken you today?

A few pictures of a 50 km stretch yesterday through a forest near me (outside Melbourne AU). https://maps.app.goo.gl/xD68mXWzy3Y6pwxo6 This area was impacted heavily by a massive bushfire in 2009, but has recovered well. It was one of those fires that made the news everywhere. Recent storms...

Looking back at this thread, I see I never replied to your question Advrider! 🙈 These are the Pivotpegz I use. https://pivotpegz.com/collections/honda/products/honda-2016-2017-crf1000l-africa-twin?variant=12698012844090 I bought them online from MXStore in Aus if I remember correctly. That was...

Where has your bike taken you today?

Sweet ride out this afternoon, after a long spell of bad weather, even though it was through a familiar area near me. Bunyip State Forest, east of Melbourne. I saw 6 large grey kangaroos (the largest a buff male over 2m tall), and 21 small black wallabys. They are active around dusk, and a pain...

Pro Mountainbiker rides Moto Gp bike

I enjoyed that. These comments put Fabio Wibmer's efforts on the MotoGP bike in perspective. I won't post his lap time and spoil it for everyone.
