Sorry man, only the panniers. The frames are staying on the bike. Flying Brick have Rockfox Pannier Racks at a reasonable price though. Might be an engineering shop that can bend up the loops?

I have a set of Touratech Aluminium Panniers that I am not using. They came with my 640A. The black marks you can see inside are as a result of dry bags. kit bags, tool bags etc being inside. All clips are in good working order and are lockable with padlocks. Couple scratches, but no major dents...

Mate of mine had a similar problem. It turned out to be a pinhole in the fuel pump diaphragm that wasn't allowing the pump to deliver enough fuel to get it started keep it running. The pump works on vacuum so not much was happening with the hole.

I would stay away from the Makro/Game bikes... Rather get someone close to him to look for a second hand bike. Avalanche DV8 can be had for little money second hand. Mongoose are also an option as are the Giants and the GT. Might be a but more than the R1000 budget though unfortunately.
