    Tubeless Conversion Advice

Cant see any reason why this wont work. Only that you will have to be very sure there is no fold in the tube at the bead. Correct and carfull fitment will be the key. Good simple clever idea. For extra safety, I would maybe add silca flex on the bead surface between the rim and tube, on the...

    Tubeless Conversion Advice

Agreed. Tube blow out on a tubed rim comes off just as easy as tyre blow out on a converted rim. So no difference really. Tubed or not. You are still on the same rim design.

Honda Navi 110 - Survey & Test Ride

IMHO bike manufacturers in the lower cc market will have to drop prices and compete in the electric motorcycle market soon.

Lane splitting is the same as entitled cyclists who think they own the roads

I have posted this explanation before but I will do it again to keep all safe and whole. Firstly I will start by saying cyclists are acutely aware that we will hurt if we come off and at best will come second best without a hospital visit. We all own cars and lot ride bikes. We DONT want to piss...

Lane splitting is the same as entitled cyclists who think they own the roads

If you look at the picture and you cycle you can clearly see the right hand "group" riding one behind the other is passing the left hand "group" riding one behind the other. The guys passing are clearly the fitter faster bunch.

Rule(s) for overtaking an 'ahead' rider on dirt roads

Wait a short time behind dodging the stones and enjoying the dust if I am not let through it will be your turn. Dont worry though it wont be for long. I have no problem riding offset with a equal speed rider or him/her doing the same, it is fun. We can share a beer and some laughs later.

    Back entry Baviaans

Very few have done it on a 1litre bike none twice. 😂

    Back entry Baviaans

Yup, rear entry is a very different beast compared to side entry. Last did it on a 450 south to north and the first section climb is now ******. The second section to the tower is "easier" (you have time to catch your breath). That saying it was 5 years ago so conditions might have improved but...

    Stupid Question......Overheating

Like the old beatles a tail wind is your worst enemy. You are almost never riding a long distance with "only" a tail wind but in place with long straight roads one must watch out.

    Stupid Question......Overheating

I am told and I have not/will not test this but, the DR650 you can fill the fuel tank, start it, and it will run out of fuel before it overheats. Urban legend ? I dont know.

    Stupid Question......Overheating

Look at a generator that stands dead still four or two stroke. They all have air ducts and impeller's that force air for cooling. They are very efficient and can run not moving in the blistering sun on a hot day.

    Stupid Question......Overheating

There is usually a fan driven by the motor with a cowl and air duct forcing air around the fins to get cooling. That cowl and air duct is vital. The above bike even more so as there is wind protectors for the riders legs that also restricts the air flow.

    Stupid Question......Overheating

It works. If the oil coats the metal inner surface there is no contact of water to this surface and as a result cannot transfer the heat across (or less of it). Also it can also pass the surfaces too quickly also causing low heat transfer. It is good that these inner surfaces are rough too. for...

    Stupid Question......Overheating

Petri. Like in you Avatar picture the fins on the hot area's increase the surface area of the metal and with minimal air flow over them are able to dissipate the heat to the air. Oil does also cool a bit as in the DR650 but also but not to as much as the fins do. In four strokes the oil helps a...

I am not saying this is not legit in any way but between the 3 of us I would think we would know of this bike. I know I have never seen it here before. I am more than willing to look at it also and give you MHO. Very clean and nice looking bike. Recently I had a customers car that we where...
