Kaokoland - Cool video by twenty9frames (Greg Miller)

Super footage indeed, it sure looks good from the elevation provided by a drone. For all those interested in the complexities and nuances of the community run conservation areas in Namibia, and especially in the north-western areas of that country I recommend reading a book called "Life is like...

For Sale - 2018 Honda CRF 250 Rally with kit & tools (UPDATED & PRICE DROPPED)

I would prefer all kit etc go with the bike as I will have no use for it once the bike goes. The bike has had its 1000km service at the local Honda dealer. NO crashes, and only very light scuffing from boots and knees, otherwise its in showroom condition. Please see the photos attached - hope...

Northern Cape Crawl (1 - 8 June 2019): Slow and Slower

Thanks Ri for a wonderful trip story, its far better than a "report" ! Your photo of the fat Kokerboom is simply lovely, the best of the bunch for me, and its flowering as well ! Watched an episode of the Safari4x4 recently of the part of their trip along the Namaqua 4x4 Route and their visuals...

Lesotho - Katse to Sani Stone Lodge via the A3

Thanks for your trip report and great photos. Ja Lesotho is simply beautiful, and I agree, Sani Pass isn't all Lesotho has to offer, by a looong way.

    Honda CRF450L

No I haven't ridden one as I'm not in the market to buy any bike at present. Although I am interested enough in bikes to be a member on this forum and take to time to watch motorcycling programs on TV. I have 250 Rally that is seldom ridden, so I'm not Honda bashing as I've only ever owned...

    Honda CRF450L

According to Harry we have the European version with the stupidly low power output, not the American version with the figures you've mentioned.

    Honda CRF450L

I watched "The Bike Show" test of the CRF450L last night, and if the facts and figures they gave are correct, I am amazed at the apparent complete lack of logical thought in bringing this bike here with the specs mentioned AND at the price mentioned. Some of the figures given were: Price -...

    Clanners to Morokweng

Thanks for the RR, and the interesting facts about that meteorite, amazing. Not many riders go to those parts of the country, I guess because of the lack of dramatic scenery, but it does have beauty of its own. Stayed in Mafikeng (Mahikeng now) from '83 to '91.
