    Maybe I will have another go.....can you still hear some noise or completely silent. I like to hear the noises of the bike and be sure all is still running as it should. But don't want to have with ear problems in the future.

    Still looking for an earplug that doesn't move or fell out of your ear when putting your helmet on. Very irritating to put your helmet on 3-4 times. Especially when using a buff, pulling it down in place the earplug always moves or get pulled out of your ear.

    Although I am a Strom fan, I will vote for the NC, referring to your intended specific use and keeping the Xpulse for the adventurers needs. If you planning on selling the Xpulse, the Strom will be more of a adv bike than the NC if you still want to explore the back roads.

    Chain wax - which one?

    I can vote for GO Chain Wax. Available at Bearing man. Doesn't fling off and you don't need to clean your chain every time. Cleaning the front sprocket cover also a breeze.
