Thanks for the offer Chrisl I know very little about these bikes but have seen posts saying the front shocks are a bit soft, so the question was more out of curiosity. I have only had my GS for 2 weeks and so far have not noticed any issues with the front suspension.

Thanks for all the info. I had heard of some long Accumulating Formula they used. If its the 1/10th of annual license fee per month then its not too bad. I will try phoning to get an exact amount on Monday.

Does any one know what kind of penalties/cost will apply to renew a bike license which expired about 3 years ago? I am looking to purchase a bike with an expired license so need to know how much extra it would cost once its in my name with COR.

Thanks, appreciate the info. I am lucky enough ( I think ) to have found a lovely little 2010 Suzuki Djebel 200 for under 30K, and should take delivery of it on Friday. A later model NHT 200 would have been great but this one seems to be in good condition, and the price was good as well.

And I think the NHT must have one of the lowest seat heights. As MaddyS said, you will get used to it eventually. I battle with the height story when it gets to rough terrain, if you suddenly need to support the bike and you put your leg out and nothing touches until its to late....
