So recently purchased a 2014 690. Very excited that it came with a rally kit (not fitted), BUT, had some challenge identifying the kit. Turns out its what KTM CPT manufactured back in the day. SO...... by the looks of it the only part that is missing to fit the kit is the main fuel tank adaptor...

Bought this unit to fit on my X Challenge. Seems the X's speedo unit also controls the indicators  :BangHead: Managed to get a secondhand original, so selling this one to offset costs. Comes with indicator kit and all wires. Looking at R2500.

Hey All, I will be stripping my motor  :-[ , so a definitely know the piston has gone, rest of the parts still in good condition. Casings, clutch, CDI, and other. Will have to sell these off to cover replacement parts required after my off  :'( If any interest let me know and we can talk

So as some might have seen I had engine issues... Almost sorted out, but.... on friday afternoon a had a bit of an incident, lets just say speed bump + blip on throttle = saw ass for the next 3 weeks So looking for the following on my X: Subframe Left indicator controller Right starter...

Long story short.... waiting in Clanwilliam for the wife and a trailer. On a weekend trip up the west coast I had to meet up with the boys in Nuwerus for the adventure to start. Stopping every 60km to have a break as I havent done long trips on the X and it ate away at my ass... 10km outside...

Got a question around oil usage.... So got the bike in December, I have used a sum total of almost 6l in the past 5 months. There is no smoke during riding and no oil in my water. The question is thus does it just burn alot of oil? I do ride hard and its mostly only town riding at the moment.

Hey All, Got meself the X end of last year. Dont know the service history.... any suggestions for a place to take it to in CPT for full service, sure valve clearance and all needs to be done. Phoned BMW Motorrad and was given ball park figure of R3500... just looking at options
