Werner, As Camino said - get a letter from your brother and have it notorised by the Namibian police. You should go together and take copies of your ID's and passports. I'd skip Botswana completely if you have a learners only as they are full of shit. Go the longer route to Noordoever instead.

Quite true Michnus and especially the Carne for Egypt. Been like that for years. I've always travelled on TIP's. Egypt is the only country to insist on a Carne.
