Anyone out there got big kms on their XR650L? Very curious as to how long these bikes can go for after being well looked after?

Correct , you can do without Honda obviously has a decompressor stock with this bike. By taking the decompressor out, will this have a negative effect on the bike? 54 000kms, 2012 model. Wont it add stress to the battery and starter?

Thanks, i think the hotcam cam doesn't come with a decompressor? Can you advise?

Hi all, my 2012 XR 650L has 53 000kms on it. Currently, when I am riding i hear this sound which sounds like pressure releasing after changing gear. Up or down. Could it also be a lack of fuel getting into the engine? Any advise would be appreciated. Many thanks.
