I've read every post with interest. It seems the 950/990 was way ahead of it's time that it can still be compared with a modern (read recently launched) bike. Would have been very surprised if the Yamaha was not better in some ways considering the age gap.

There are too many idiots out there to try educate them by breaking mirrors, showing them you have stripped your moer, sharing same aggresion towards them, etc. Good luck trying...
