    Rokon 2x2...

They did a rebuild of one of those on Matt's Offroad Recovery some time back (youtube - it was the old man Ed's bike). Dog slow, but they were clearly built with a purpose in mind. He used it back in the day when he did gold prospecting in the mountans- if you see where they were "riding", you...

    TE610 carb assistance required

Ja- all the changes and expenses made it a non-starter for me. I had two 80's bikes that I could have run, but would have been totally uncompetitive against the money-bags bikes. Great pity that it went the way that it did.

Aaaahhhh.......that could have been me! At Killarney? With Buddy's ELR? MSA stuffed up that class.........

Life in America - We made the move.

Donald is a great guy. Can be a little grumpy if people talk k*k and waste his time. He's been in that game for many many years - If I need something that I can't find anywhere it's guaranteed that he'll either have it, or know where to get it. I've been knocking on his counter since about 1992...

This is what a sweater looks like that went through the chain

Probably a good idea to check that there isn't any runout on your output shaft if it got sucked through there (ie between chain and sprocket). Even a couple of mm extra will result in very high chain tension for a second or two. Also bearing......

This is what a sweater looks like that went through the chain

Brett Clark, one of the owners of Cycle City here in CT back in the day. Returning from a rally, tie down strap got caught in the wheel at speed - ended with his funeral. Prob not the same incident. Really pays to be careful with tying stuff to your bike.

    That will buff right out.....

Update - I've found a full set of bodywork locally. The chap doesn't want to sell bits and pieces, so I have to take the whole lot. He raced one for some years, and removed all of the bodywork when he put it on the track (used fibreglass farings for the track). A little pricey, but I suppose...
