Why not do it in mild steel and ceramic coat the unit ,          looks just the same and also has a temprature drop through the coating, speak to scorch they use it quite often

Try platerite near elsies rive speak to lizette they are excellent, an alternative is ceramic coating but may be a llittle more than than regular electro plateing
