Where do you attach your license disc?

I bolt the holder facing backwards with the bolt that secures the inside of the left handguard. That way it's out of harm's way but still visible. But then I donner through the bush every Sunday and often in between.

Parklands Bush Rides (was once quarry riding) - awesome playpen - be careful of crime and oncoming traffic

Absolutely brilliant ride today. Almost a "Family Day". Graham and his brother Dave, Juriaan and his son Jowan, Willie and his son Willem, Angus, Caron and I made up a formidable team, unafraid of any challenge. Everybody was able to ride at their capability while never feeling out of their...

Parklands Bush Rides (was once quarry riding) - awesome playpen - be careful of crime and oncoming traffic

JanH and Elwardo stopped by my house this morning to join me of the "Urban Enduro". JanH was on an X-Challenge and Elwardo on a GSA. The GSA wouldn't start when it was time to go so the jumper-leads came out. Success. At Rivergate they split off. Five minutes later the GSA wouldn't start again...

Parklands Bush Rides (was once quarry riding) - awesome playpen - be careful of crime and oncoming traffic

I went out on Wednesday and opened 5 new little tracklets, mostly linking existing stuff. Look forward to showing them to you tomorrow.

Parklands Bush Rides (was once quarry riding) - awesome playpen - be careful of crime and oncoming traffic

Perfect morning -warm with a strong southeaster. Francois, JohnR, Juriaan, Jowan, Angus, William, Caron, Justin, Ryan and Willie made up a very relaxed group. Ryan is a newbie, JohnR and I were both recovering from old age and decrepitude so we stuck together on the easier routes, while the rest...

Thanks to Lance and DavidM for taking the lead today. I imagine the ride might well have been a bit more energetic than usual.

I won't be riding tomorrow, but several others will be. Perhaps DavidM can lead you on an exciting mystery tour?

Parklands Bush Rides (was once quarry riding) - awesome playpen - be careful of crime and oncoming traffic

Aldo, Pieter, Jowan, Juriaan, Neil, William, Kim, Caron, DavidM, Bruce and Danie came along for a scenic tour. Along the way we found a lone newbie, Shaun, who fell in with us and had a great ride. Thanks everyone. Well done to the beginners and the vertically challenged for being so brave...

We all (Lance, Angus, Hanneli, Matt, DavidM, Willie, William, JohnR, James, PaulM, Dylan and, Alan) had the best time. Thanks Angus for taking the group while David, William and I explored the new tracks and opened the 4th route up the dune in the Abyss Extension. Nice to bump into Kim and Peter...

Angus will probably lead a more flowing route and I'll be exploring/cutting new trails. See you in the morning.

I've posted a link to this on our Parklands group. Several of them enjoy Atlantis. And I see a couple have replied here.

Parklands Bush Rides (was once quarry riding) - awesome playpen - be careful of crime and oncoming traffic

William, Tiaan, CraigR, Angus and JanH joined me for a moderately energetic ride through most of our area. I was much surprised that The Crater is still awash - even in mid-January. 2024 must have been a very wet year. Towards the end I took Angus through the "easy" Abyss track while the rest...

Parklands Bush Rides (was once quarry riding) - awesome playpen - be careful of crime and oncoming traffic

Another splendid morning. Caron, Angus, Matt, Raymond, Brendan, JohnR, JamesR and William joined me for a varied ride through the area. A bit chaotic at times, but always lots of fun. AndrewG came to see us off and to join us at debrief. Supertorro (of this forum) met us at the end. Good to...

Parklands Bush Rides (was once quarry riding) - awesome playpen - be careful of crime and oncoming traffic

Welcome - We'll be leaving from Rivergate Business Park at 8:30 sharpish. See you there. Bring water and a sense of humour. Lighter bikes are much easier, but big bikes can also manage if ridden well. Tyre pressures in the region of half a bar or less are advantageous. There are 2 filling...
