If you need a new CDI unit order the Ignitech programmable cdi from Spectrum Moto in the USA. They cost about R3750.00 including shipping. I plugged mine in this weekend and cant stop grinning. The bike has been transformed into a monster. Power wheelies no problem.

The xr650l I bought has recently been serviced. I was told that they filled it with synthetic oil. How many km before I have to do an oil change and also what would be the best oil. Do you recommend putting on an oil cooler .
