I am looking for an Akrapovic for a 2007 KTM 640 Adventure. (would also considered a standard KTM pipe in good condition) Alternatively, I have a perfect set of Akrapovic twin pipes for a Yamaha 660 Tenere (value around R13,000) to swop for an Akra for the 640.

I replaced the Sprague clutch because the starter would not "bite", just a noisy rattle when starter button was pressed. I guess the spring was the culprit, as there was little noticeable wear on the rollers etc. The spring being the weak link, as the other components are pretty robust.

Cool fix igeorge. Thanks for the part numbers. (I replaced my 640`s sprague clutch with a KTM part at about 45,000km)

I find the TKC on the front wheel is a good compromise...acceptable on dirt, and surprisingly predictable on tar. (I do a fair amount of tar roads in town, so the last thing I need is a jittery front, it messes with my head bigtime) On the back I use whatever is available, as they don't last...
