I also bought a 14 year old Legend...... for R110k with only 50k on the clock, what a bargain. Now I have the best of both worlds I can now sit at 140km/h all day long with the wife on the back or I can go and bugger around in Lesotho with a light bike..... pefect set-up for under R180k

I decided to get the front suspension upgraded with Progessive Springs. Runner from Off Road Cycles sorted that out with no issues and the bike is much smoother now on the bumpy stuff. Did a ride around the Mooinooi / Marikana mines a few weeks ago with the new springs and it they were perfect...

Yeah, you can actually go just around the railway line and end up at the canals again. It is about a 9km detour on tar, but well worth it to avoid Brits and the sesspools.

Yeah, Oukasie has gone to ****, literally! That is why we now always skip the Oukasie part and join the canals directly after we leave the railway line, therefore we do not need to go throuh Brits, and Oukasie. (y)
