Happened to me in my 20's, on the way back to Walvis Bay from the EC. Left the road somewhere between fokkol and nerens nie. Woke up to the desert flashing past me. Somehow kept it upright and got it back onto the road without any damage. No need to sleep further, I was wide awake.

This bike... Yamaha DT50. I worked my ass off every weekend to afford to buy it and I absolutely loved riding it for 4 glorious years as a teenager. It gave me the freedom to explore every corner of the Eastern Cape, from school runs to weekends fishing with my mates in the Transkei. Great times.
