A customer dealer just sent an engine back because of a 'scraping noise' in the engine. It turns out that the cylinders were not honed. All because they came and fetched the block in November 2023 for assessment by the insurance. And forgot to send it back for the honing part.

Re the R21: where the sink hole is (where the north bound narrows down to two lanes). There has been a lot of activity there during the last week or so. It seems that the problem is at last being addressed. It's been like that for 3 maybe 4 years now. It has been a serious bottle neck.

I got a third in the GXCC in the veterans class with a starting grid of 11. The next race is in 6 weeks' time and with my current training program, I will be just that little bit fitter. An absolute blast!

Next thing will probably be like the BMW C1 of old with a ompletely enclosed 'cabin'. Just holes on the sides to get the knee down.
