I have had a complete opposite experience which makes me think it is area dependent. Moms and people on phones atleast put their indicator on when they are changing lanes. Taxis are a sort of reckless stupid that is hard to predict. Thats been my experience so far, not challenging your view...

I can agree with this but commuting seems to be getting more and more difficult. Im sure taxis all around the country are the same and are a law unto themselves. I thought in this thread we could get some tips on how to share the road with them.

Seems to be the guided tours and the event itself with food, drinks and music. Although R1250 seems a bit excessive, might be worth it to sort out your own accomodation and pay R750 for the guided tour and 1 day at the event.

I also discovered this event and wondered if it would be worth it to go. I havn't been that way before and would like to explore the terrain. Not too keen on travelling to the event solo, would be cool if I could tag along or if we can organise some sort of riding group to travel to the event.
