I've got an old XR500 (not RE) smokes a bit and needs some work but you can have it for 7k as a restore...always starts 3rd kick (strange for an XR)...I weight 110 at 6.4' and it did me well till I got my XR650 If it's not your cup of tea no stress.

Ok so there are 5 XR650......I,ve got a house out in Greyton and know a few interesting rides in the area...I am there most weekends and would be happy to entertain a few like minded souls to some mud dust and beers!

Kim and I will be hanging out at the Greyton house from 29th Dec till about 10th frightening the locals on the XR's ..anyone feel like distracting us with a day trip or two would be appreciated by ALL. Any ideas? :)

Old and a bit smokey but goes well, starts even better than the XR650.....no papers but a fun bike that never lets you down any offers 6k+

This might work for me as stable mate for the old XR650 .... last brit I had was trident but always hanker after a cool ride....where u ... can we have a chat?  BTWI was  'Black Tiger' long time ago in the Uk..

Been riding XR's of all sizes for 20 years and now willing to do it in public...coming out is never easy :mwink: Anyone willing to risk a trip with a BRP either in Cape Town or Greyton give me a call... might even bring Kim on her CRF230 if you feeling brave >:D

Try the Honda Dealer in Somerset West..he told me 4 months ago  that his counterpart in Stellenbosch was bringing in a crate of BRP's but best check us and see how the lattest economic situation has influenced the world.
