I'm getting the DMD T865 tablet from Thork Racing.

I'll be getting the DMD T865 navigation tablet. It comes with a lockable mounting bracket. There is now a T865x that has double the memory (128GB) and a brighter screen (1000+nits). These units are specifically designed for motorcycle navigation.

I did see somewhere that DMD2 refreshes 5 x a second. That is probably there tablet not the maps.

I have loaded and subscribed to DMD2 on my phone and the roads/tracks on the vineyard next to me are even showing on the map. I don't even see them on t4a maps. I'm thinking there maps have very good detail. I like that with the click of a button you can view Google earth to check tracks not...

Anyone tried this App here in SA? It looks very good and designed by bikers spacifically for adventure riders. I sold my Zumo XT and am waiting for my DMD tablet to arrive. I'm curious to know if anyone here has gone down this rabbit hole?

Seems like you should just order the new parts from the dealer and have your expert assemble it for you. Then you know what you are getting.
